Breast Cancer Screening (3/1 - 3/26)

The BYU Wellness Program and Utah Valley Regional Medical Center are sponsoring the 17th Annual Early Breast Cancer Detection Campaign March 1-26.

Registration for this event is now open. 

PLEASE NOTE:  A baseline mammogram should be done between the ages of 35-40 and then every year after 40.  Normally mammogram's are not done on women in their 20's or early 30's unless there is a problem or they have a mother who had breast cancer before the age of 50.

Can Diet Prevent Cancer? (3/24, 12:00 - 12:50 pm)

Dr. Merrill Christensen from the Nutrition, Dietetics and Food Science department will be discussing what the latest research tells us about preventing cancer with diet.
