- Mirror Lake/Hwy. 150 - numerous camping opportunities along the west side of the Uinta Mountains
- Coral Pink Sand Dunes - spectacular contrasts of red rock cliffs, blue skies, and 3,000-acre expanse of sand dunes
- Goblin Valley - scores of intricately eroded creatures, haunting rocks and caves
- Jordanelle Reservoir and State Park - a variety of wildlife viewing and scenery, a boardwalk trail and plenty of fishing
- Lake Powell/Glen Canyon National Recreation Area - great for boating and thousands of miles of shoreline
- Skyline Drive - beautiful forest and scenic alpine lakes
- American Fork Canyon - extraordinary mountain vistas and Timpanogos cave
- Zion National Park - towering canyon walls and sculpted monolithic mountains that offer great hiking and sightseeing
- Currant Creek Reservoir and Recreation Area - great fishing, hiking and horseback riding
- Bear Lake State Park - one of the deepest lakes in the state
- Snow Canyon State Park - red and white sandstone cliffs capped by black lava rock
- Bryce Canyon National Park - the result of monumental interplay between earth, water and time
- Smith and Morehouse Reservoir - alpine camping in close proximity to the Wasatch Front
