Green Smoothie Recipes

Beginner's Luck Green Smoothie
(Adapted from 100 Days of Real Food)

  • 2 cups fresh spinach
  • 2  cups water
  • 1  cup mango
  • 1 cup pineapple
  • 2 bananas

​Use at least one frozen fruit to chill your smoothie. We often use frozen mangos and bananas in our green smoothies. Serves 2

"The Basic" Recipe

  • 7  ice cubes
  • 1  cup of water
  • 1  medium or large banana
  • 2  cups of watermelon
  • 1  cup of spinach

*blend for30 seconds to 1 minute
*yields about 4 cups or 1 quart
Pour into a tall glass or a To-Go bottle and ENJOY!!!

"The Newbie Smoothie" Recipe

  • 1/2 cup of ice
  • 1  cup of water
  • 1  medium or large banana
  • 1-1/2  cups of Cantaloupe
  • 2 cups of spinach

*blend for30 seconds to 1 minute
*yields about 4 cups or 1 quart
Pour into a tall glass or a To-Go bottle and ENJOY!!!

"Best Kept Secret" Recipe

  • 2  Cup of Ice
  • 1  Mango
  • 1  Cup of Pineapple
  • 4 Collard Green Leaves

“The Best Kept Secret” is less than 35 calories per cup!
*Blend for 40 seconds to 1 minute
*Yields about 6 cups

Cilantro Limeade Smoothie
(Adapted from Simple Green Smoothies)

  • 1 1/2 cups french spinach
  • 1/2 cup cilantro
  • 2  cups water
  • 3 bananas or mangos
  • juice of 1 lime
  • 1 inch fresh ginger, grated

​Blend spinach, cilantro and water until smooth. Next, add the remaining fruits and blend again. Serves 2.
