Life Satisfaction Survey

Life satisfaction has little to do with what is happening around you and more about what is happening within you. Russell M. Nelson said "When the focus of our lives is on Jesus Christ and His gospel, we can feel joy regardless of what is happening- or not happening in our lives."

By taking the following Life Satisfaction survey, you will have a good indicator of what areas in your life need the most improvement.

To improve your satisfaction you might consider focusing on one of the following areas shown to influence satisfactions levels:

  • Friends - Having a close friends boosts satisfaction.  Focus on strengthening the relationships with those around you. Get to know your neighbors, they can become some of your closest friends. Religious groups can provide great opportunities to form strong relationships with those you connect with.  Look for ways to serve or mentor others as another great way to strengthen relationships.
  • Having a Life Story - Those who know about their ancestors, where they came from, and the heritage behind them gives them self-confidence and a sense of purpose. Write down your own story. Keep a regular journal, especially when you write things down you are grateful for will improve your mood and outlook on life. It is very fulfilling to look back on positive journal entries and memories.
  • Set Goals - Setting goals for yourself helps contribute to satisfaction by providing direction to your life. Setting goals will also help you to accomplish things that you may not otherwise accomplish without setting the goal. Remember to set goals that are specific, measurable, and achievable.
